Inspector Anjani Agashe is a rugged drug-addicted cop who kills known criminals and executes their deaths like a police encounter as his daughter Vani was shot dead during a raid in Goa. A released criminal named Advaita Thakur immediately calls Agashe and informs him of the upcoming murder of a police officer and wishes him Sankranti. Michael Rodrigues is Agashe’s colleague and a play-by-rule cop whose personal life is falling apart because his wife Teresa is having an affair with another man. Later, Michael learns that his friend and colleague Victor has been brutally murdered.

At the crime scene, Michael meets Agashe and the two are immediately at odds with each other: Agashe wants to kill the killer, while Michael wants to imprison the killer. It is implied that Advaita is behind Victor’s death. Advaita soon kills Michael’s associates Nitin and Deven, where Michael becomes suspicious of a drug-addicted prostitute named Jesse, who is Advaita’s friend and is helping her with the murders. Michael notices her in the room and follows her to her presiding place. Upon learning that Michael is following him, Jesse tries to burn the evidence in his place, but Michael enters and learns that he is also a target on Advaita’s hitlist. Advaita surrenders himself to Agashe and Michael’s past with Advaita is revealed.
